Learn every part of ChatBeds for your role, with Ana as your teacher, practice in a training hotel, and certificates and a badge anyone can verify.
ChatBeds University teaches your team every part of ChatBeds. See the courses and how certification works at university.chatbeds.app, where Ana answers questions as your teacher. To learn, press Start learning there, or choose University in the app's menu, and sign in with your usual ChatBeds login.
Your lessons
Each guide in this help centre is a lesson, grouped in tracks such as Front desk, Housekeeping, Money or Selling and revenue. You see the tracks your role uses: a housekeeper sees housekeeping, not the money.
There are three kinds of lesson:

Learn with Ana
Click Learn with Ana on any lesson. Ana is the teacher:
- She explains one idea at a time, in your language.
- She opens the page and points at each button as she explains it.
- She asks you to try each step yourself.
- She asks the quiz questions and waits for your own answers. ChatBeds marks them, not Ana, and she explains any you got wrong.
The training hotel
Practice happens in the ChatBeds Demo Hotel, made for your account the first time a lesson needs it. Its guests are invented, it's never billed, and no WhatsApp message ever goes out from it. Choose it in the property menu (Practise in the training hotel does this for you), do the task, then click Check my practice.
If your login can use only some of your hotels, ask your owner or admin to let it use the ChatBeds Demo Hotel too.
For owners and managers
The My team tab shows each person's progress: lessons passed of those their role uses, by track, and when they last learnt something. It's a quick way to see who still needs to learn the night audit or check-in.
Certificates and the Certified badge
Finish every lesson of a track and you earn its certificate. Finish every track your role uses and you become a ChatBeds Certified Hotel Professional. They're under My certificates:
- Certificate (PDF): your name, the title, the tracks, the dates, the credential ID and a QR code. Print it or attach it to your CV.
- Add to LinkedIn: opens LinkedIn's "Add licence or certification" form, already filled in.
- Verification page and Copy link: the page anyone (a new employer, say) opens to check it's genuine.
A certificate is valid for 2 years; take the lessons again to renew it.
Checking a certificate
Open the link on the certificate, scan its QR code, or type its ID (like CBU-7K2M-QX4P) at
university.chatbeds.app/verify. It says whether the certificate is valid,
expired or revoked, with the person's name, the title and the dates. It never shows their email.
Each certificate is an Open Badges 3.0 credential signed by ChatBeds, so software can check it too: the page links the signed credential and ChatBeds' public keys.
Rather not have it checked publicly? Untick Anyone with the link or QR code can verify it. Tick it again whenever you like.
Moving to another hotel
Your certificates are yours, not your hotel's. They stay valid if you leave, and at your new hotel the University counts those tracks as done.
- Same email: nothing to do.
- New email: in My certificates, under Earned them with another email?, type one of your credential IDs. We send a 6-digit code to the old email; type it and the certificates move to your new login.
- No access to the old email: write to support@chatbeds.app with the credential ID. We check it's you before moving them.
Only ChatBeds can revoke a certificate (for example, one earned dishonestly), and the verification page then says why.
